Full time Cook/Kitchen Manager

We are in search of a Cook/Kitchen Manager with a passion for safe, healthy, high quality, fresh food, with a focus on rustic. We are looking for someone who loves to cook, who cares about their customer experience, wants to work in a friendly atmosphere with staff and customers alike, and who wants to make an impact by collaborating with owners and staff to elevate our menu selections.

This position is 36-40 hours weekly, mostly afternoons and evenings from Tuesday through Saturday.

Essential Qualifications:
Serv-safe Certified,
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as lead cook or sous-chef in a restaurant kitchen.
Culinary Training/Education and some supervisory experience preferred

Job Requirements:
Has own transportation, is punctual.
Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Complies with safe food handling and storage procedures of the Board of Health.
Follows recipes, plans and executes menu items from fresh prep to presentation efficiently.
Monitors maintains portion control and consistency while minimizing food waste and loss.
Maintains regular inventory and procurement.
Communicates effectively with management and staff.
Works independently as well as manage BOH staff.
Opens and closes the kitchen efficiently and effectively.

Part-time Lead Cook

We are search of a part-time lead cook who is honest, reliable, and committed to quality expectations. This role supports the Chef/Kitchen Mgr. and acts as lead position in absence of the Chef. This is a Part- Time position (15-25+ hrs/week) including Saturdays, requiring responsibility for ALL aspects of cooking and operations in an independent restaurant kitchen. Immediate opening available.
Rate of pay will be based on experience, level of skills, and attributes.Essential Qualifications:
Reliable
Minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant kitchen
Food Safe certification a plus but not required

Required duties are diverse and varied and include the following:

Handles and stores foods properly
Always cleans kitchen to Cincinnati health standards

Dishwasher/porter

We are looking for a Part Time Dishwasher/Porter (minimum 16 years old) in our kitchen. The right person we are looking for will care about their guests’ experience and want to work in a friendly atmosphere with staff and customers alike. Work Times are mostly evenings (Tuesdays through Saturdays) and may occasionally include a Saturday morning. This position is for anyone who wishes to establish work experience for the future.

We are looking for an experienced part time Server/Bartender with a minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant setting.
