Bridge Street is a Cincinnati-based, established group of seasoned musicians performing together for several years. While we bill ourselves as “Acoustic Classic Rock”, our song catalog spans 70 years of the greatest music. We focus on popular “Classic Rock” songs from the 60’s and 70’s along with other songs spanning back to the 50’s (Buddy Holly).

We take our music seriously, but not ourselves! During our shows, we poke fun at each other and always banter with our audience, so everyone has fun! Come out and enjoy some music with Mike Biere on guitar/vocals, Rick Boyer, percussion, and Tom Slager on keyboard.

Common Folk features Kathy Raffenberg on fiddle and singer-songwriter Steve Bleh on guitar and vocals.  Drawing from the unique fusion of Kathy’s classical violin training, and Steve’s folk and Americana influences, the Common Folk sound is sometimes mellow and woodsy, and other times driving and urgent.  This sound, coupled with lyrics that tell our stories, takes the listener on a ride a lot like life itself- the highs, the lows and everything in between, but always hopeful.   Shows include a mix of Common Folk originals and the duo’s folkified takes on your country, rock and pop favorites.

Performing classic acoustic Piedmont, Delta and Chicago blues, ragtime, boogie, American music in the country and folk tradition of Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Cephas & Wiggins and more.

Their performance is branded by soulful vocals, guitar driven melodies, bluesy harmonica and an all-out foot stomping, dynamic, energetic good time.

Singer, songwriter, producer, and Musician Joe Cowels has been honing his craft with more than two decades of live performance under his belt. Joe C has learned that the right song, the right note, at the right time for the right person can change the world for them. Born in New York, Joe grew up as a multi-instrumentalist, and was cutting his teeth on Jazz at an early age. He later played in Country, Rock, Metal and Pop bands, and even worked on commercial jingles for a time, giving him an extensive vocabulary to play with. His true calling, however, rests in the guitar and in the timeless blues and blues-rock classics of his heroes. Over the years he has played all over the country to thousands of people, and played with big names, local legends and more. Now residing in Cincinnati Ohio, Joe enjoys playing in both his Solo show as well as in his own Band for as many people as possible. He still does Session and studio work occasionally, and enjoys sharing music with the world.

Boomerang features fiddle, acoustic bass, guitar and vocals. They play a wide range of music ranging from James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Harry Chapin and the Beatles to Zach Brown, Mumford and Sons, and Garth Brooks.

The power duo, Dave Hawkins and Peg Buchanan have been a FAVORITE at Marty’s 1st Wednesday for 15 years! Performing Folk, Folk Rock, Americana and Celtic songs.
Dave is a touring songwriter and an active member of the College Hill Community during the 20 years he and wife Wendy lived here. When not on tour or working in Nashville he loves sharing his music back here in his “old hometown!” Currently he and Wendy live in Galloway Ohio.
Peg Buchanan is and accomplished, award winning fiddler. She and Dave have performed and toured together in the US and Europe for 30 years! A founding member of the Celtic group Strings in the Glen (1993-1997), and a member of Dave’s band Celtic Core- which was active from 1995 through 2003.

Over Easy is a musical duo featuring Greg and Nancy Hudson. Their music encompasses a variety of genres, including soft rock, pop, blues and jazz, covering music from the ’60s to the present.  Their sound consists of vocals, piano, guitar, and percussion.

New Brew, the musical quartet consisting of the acoustic guitar sounds of Mike Biere and Glen Wegryn and Albert Harville on bass with percussion additions from Rich Boyer, are here to entertain you.

These guys play an eclectic mix ranging from mellow to rowdy, including everything from Simon & Garfunkle to The Who! While most of the song selections are more from the “classic rock” era, there are selections ranging from the ‘50’s to current day in their repertoire. Vocals are a highlight and the musicianship is top notch!
